I bought 4 of these floor lamps, 2 black and 2 white. They contribute exquisite room lighting, using energy-efficient bulbs and are exquisite for a room that has no other overhead lighting. The white ones were much trickier to assemble. There are four sections to be screwed together and they must be perfectly aligned or the threads cross. You cannot undo the relationship without stripping the threads. The white ones didn't line up as well, seemed maybe lighter in substance than the black. I wondered if they were man-made in a separate factory.You also must be very specific in intriguing them around; they get out of line easily. If you are very specific in assembling, you'll have a good lamp at a low price. I love the style and they look great in my house.
